About

Mamalaw Media Group

Mamalaw Media Group was founded by the creators of the lifestyle and parenting blog, “Mamalaw.”  The Mamas, who between them have seven children, ages eight and younger, are three practicing attorneys. When they are not practicing law, the mompreneurs contribute to the world of social media through their blog, Mamalaw.com. Mamalaw.com was started in 2006 and is evidence of the powerful partnership that is their friendship. On the blog, they counsel, support, and lean on each other and their blogging community. There is also no shortage of funny stories, touching moments, or reasons to rant. Occasionally, the Mamas provide a kernel of parenting wisdom too. Mamalaw Media Group serves as a launching pad for other adventures, including the Blogalicious Weekend Conferences, their marketing network, The bLink, and launching in Spring 2010, My Blogalicious, an online community for women of color.

With the advent of the Blogalicious Weekend Conferences, the Mamas hope to ignite a sense of unity within our community as well as to educate marketers on the importance of our demographic in today’s marketplace, all while networking, building relationships, and promoting inspiration and success for our blogs.

Mamalaw.com has been recognized as a top lifestyle blog over the web. Awards and recognitions include selection as national spokesbloggers for the American Heart Association’s BetterU program; award by the Miami Herald as a top “Work/Life Balancing Act” blog; selection as a Southern Living Mama Blog of the Week (January 2009); and recognition in the American Bar Association Journal Blawg Directory as one of its top parenting blogs for 2009. The Mamas also contribute articles to various sites around the web, including DC Metro Moms Blog, a division of the hugely popular Silicon Valley Moms Blog Group.
